Our basement lowering service is a great way to turn a basement with low headroom into a usable space and this can add alot of enjoyment, functionality and value to your home.
Basement lowering can be achieved by underpinning the existing basement footings and digging out the interior of the basement to a depth of up to three feet / one meter, depending on various factors such as soil considerations, water table, condition of the existing foundation, weight of existing building, and budget.
We do not practice engineering, however we can recommend professional engineers to our clients on an 'as needed basis'. This type of work involves both geotechnical engineering and structural engineering design. We repair foundation structural issues and provide basement lowering service as per engineered designs and a building permit is required for this work.
