Structural Improvements

Structural Improvements

Westboro Foundation Repair also provides structural improvements inside your basement, whether you want to install new steel posts with new concrete footings or new steel beams so that your ground floor can be made level.

Posts and beams can shrink, crack, or rot over time for various reasons. Lots of weight can be placed onto the main floor of the house and the framing of the basement ceiling and the posts and foundation that support it must remain structurally sound. We can repair deteriorated supports with stronger, more rigid supports, sometimes without the need for an engineer.

When you want to upgrade your basements structure with a new steel I-beam, a structural engineer's design is required, and a building permit. We perform these improvements according to engineered drawings as per building permit requirements.

The following are typical structural improvement services that we provide:
  • New Concrete Footings
  • New Steel Posts
  • New Steel I-Beams
